Percentage of localisation of rural accidents

Rural road accidents are localised depending on the municipal road segment belonging to motorways, national, regional and provincial road on which they happen. The procedure implies the impossibility of localisation of some rural accdients happened in Piedmont due to two main reasons: some accidents, in fact, happen on roads of a kind different from the ones considered here (it is the case, for instance, of a rural road accident happened on a municipal road); for some other accidents happened on the kinds of roads here analysed only an incomplete or wrong statistical data is at disposal (for instance the case happened on a national road of which the nunber and the name are missing).

In order to evaluate the phenomenon and the presented results it is worth considering the following percentages of localisation of accidents which are measures of the significance of the outcome of the accident localisation procedure.
